Circle Schedule – March
The Tenth Triennial Gathering of the Women of the ELCA (the national gathering) will be held Minneapolis this year July 13-16, 2017. The theme resonates with the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. Scheduled are inspiring speakers, special musicians, worship and praise, workshops, and an exhibit hall for visiting and shopping. More specific information is forthcoming.
Our LQP Conference of the Women of the ELCA is considering a day (either Friday or Saturday) at the gathering in Mpls rather than have the fall retreat in September. A bus would be hired to transport the women attending for the day and the cost for the bus would be approximately $50.00. In addition, the registration for the day would be $175.00 per person.
If anyone has any interest in attending this event, it is necessary to contact Bernice Oellien right away and pay the $50.00 for the bus. The bus cost may be less once they have the final numbers. If there is not enough interest, the bus fee will be returned. The check should be made out to the LQP Conference and send to Bernice Oellien at 2570 – 80th Street, Madison, MN 56256.
You may check with Susan Christopher, LQP Conference President, regarding registration procedures.
Please give this your prayerful consideration. Online reviews show this is to be a very inspirational event to attend.
