Shirlene Sorby will be hosting Ruth Circle on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 7:00pm in Grace Hall; featuring Bible Study with Delores Windingstad.
Gwen Robertson & Clarice Olson will be hosting Lydia Circle on Monday, April 29th at 9:30am in Grace Hall; featuring Bible Study with Ruth Solem.
First Communion classes will be Wednesday, April 24 & May 1st from 3:30 - 7:00 for our 4th graders. The congregation will help them celebrate their First Communion on Sunday, May 5th.
We have begun our “Make-up” Sunday event! The youth are also participating! The grades that bring in the most will get to give our pastors a makeover during our VBS Kick-off Event on June 2nd!
Last Day of Sunday School
The last day of Sunday School will be on May 5th. The Sunday School Youth will be singing during the 10:45 worship on May 5th.
Larry Olson, originally of rural Madison, will be speaking on “Rural Roots and Our Global Family” on May 1st in Madison. Tickets for these “Mad Hatter Tea Parties” are $12 per session and include a meal. The brunch session is from 9:30-11 at MN Valley Lutheran in rural Madison. The dinner session is from 5;30-7;30 at Calvary Baptist Church in Madison. Don’t forget to wear your favorite hat!

LqP Conference Global Mission Event
This month’s Global Mission Event will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd on May 17th. Guest speaker will be Pastor Harvey Nelson discussing his visit to Israel & Palestine.
The Agape Singers will be providing both the 8:30 and 10:45 services on May 19th.
Even though Sunday School will be finished on May 5th, our summer worship schedule will not be starting until May 26th.
SWMN Synod Assembly
The Southwest Minnesota Synod Assembly will be held June 7-8 in Redwood Falls. We are still looking for delegates to represent our congregation. Please contact the office or one of our pastors if you are interested!

Radio & Bulletin Sponsorship
Openings are available to sponsor the bulletins or radio broadcast in 2019. Bulletins are $30.00 and the radio broadcast is $50.00. Call the church office if you would like to reserve a date.
We are looking for members wishing to assist in worship. These opportunities include: Usher, Lector, Greeters, Media Tech (2nd Service), Grace Choir, Praise Team, and Communion Assistant. Anyone wishing to share their talents and abilities or would like more info can sign up or contact the church office. For those who are already on our talent & abilities lists you do not need to sign up again. Thank you for prayerfully considering these opportunities.
Rice Hospice will be offering Healing Hearts Bereavement Support Groups for individuals who have experienced loss. Support groups are held in Clarkfield and Willmar. For more information call (320)231-4450.
Respite Care Providers Needed
Respite Care is the term used to refer to the act of leaving a loved one with special needs in the temporary care of anther party. Respite care may help children by lowering the stress level at home. Typical recipients of respite care are special needs children with mental health needs, developmental disabilities or physical disabilities, but it is becoming increasingly common for the elderly as well.
