We will have one service on Sunday, February 18th at 9:00am at Grace. There will be no Sunday School classes.
Lenten Book Study
Our Lenten Book Study and Wednesday evening worship will focus on the book, “Give up Something Bad for Lent”. The forty days of Lent are ideal to use this study and prepare to give up something bad while preparing to fully embrace the "Good News" of Easter. Books are available for a suggested donation of $10.
Current Book Studies are:
Teen Study: Sundays at 9:30 in the lounge
Young Women’s Study: Sundays at 2:00 in the lounge
Women’s Study: Mondays at 2:00 in the lounge
Book Study: Wednesdays at 6am in Grace Hall and 6:00pm in the library

Dinner and Worship
Please join us for a meal and worship with us this Lent! Our Lenten Supper is at 6:00 pm and Lenten Services begin at 7:00 pm. Free will offering to help with expenses for the 2018 National Youth Gathering this summer. The menu for February 21st is scalloped potatoes with ham, bread, and bars.

Intergenerational Pie Making Day
Pastor Jane is hosting her next intergenerational event on Saturday, March 10th from 9am-1pm. Everyone is invited to join her in the kitchen to make pies for the pie auction.
Pulled Pork Meal & Pie Auction
Mark your calendars for the next Youth Gathering fundraiser on March 11th after 10:45 worship. Join us for a meal and pie auction in Grace Hall. Each ELCA Gathering participant is asked to bring 1 donated homemade pie.
Rice Bowl for Hospice!
Nathan and Jesi Martinson and family are bowling in the Rice Bowl for Hospice fundraiser on February 24th! This is a great fundraiser with all of the donations being given directly to the Dawson hospice program. The money is used to cover costs not paid by insurance. If you would like to donate, checks can be made payable to Rice Hospice and can be left in the offering plate or in the church office. Thank you in advance!!
Dad’s Belgian Waffle Feed!
There will be a Dad’s Belgian Waffle Feed on Sunday, February 25th form 9:30am – 1pm at the Dawson VFW. Tickets are $7 in advance (available from Jr./Sr. parents) or $8 at the door. 5 & under eat for free. Carry outs available. Proceeds go to Dawson-Boyd Prom Afterglow.
Pastor Keith Long’s father, Roderick, passed away suddenly on February 8th, 2018. If you would like to send condolences, Pastor Keith and Rebecca’s address is 21828 Sugar Ln - Rogers, MN 55374. Please keep their family in your prayers during this difficult time.
We are looking for members wishing to assist in worship. These opportunities include: Usher, Lector, Greeters, Media Tech (2nd Service), Grace Choir, Praise Team, and Communion Assistant. Anyone wishing to share their talents and abilities or would like more info can sign up or contact the church office. Rice Hospice will be offering Healing Hearts Bereavement Support Groups for individuals who have experienced loss. Support groups are held in Clarkfield and Willmar. For more information call (320)231-4450.
Respite Care Providers Needed
Respite Care is the term used to refer to the act of leaving a loved one with special needs in the temporary care of anther party. Respite care may help children by lowering the stress level at home. Typical recipients of respite care are special needs children with mental health needs, developmental disabilities or physical disabilities, but it is becoming increasingly common for the elderly as well.
